Chrystal Jenkins is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She received her MSW at Boston University January 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Endicott College in August 2014. She has several years of experience as an outpatient therapist. She is experienced with various populations and settings such as correctional facilities, outpatient, crisis intervention, DMH provided services and in-home therapy, providing quality therapeutic services. She enjoys working with children, teens, young adults and adults of all ages.
Chrystal utilizes various evidence based therapeutic modalities and techniques. Such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy for youth, couples therapy, family therapy, and parent coaching. She has worked with clients who have had various needs and concerns. She has experience working with clients who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, Substance use disorders, PTSD, and many other diagnoses.
Clients will feel empowered, validated and valued. Her focus is to assist clients to address their immediate concerns while guiding them to develop important life skills to manage their emotions, behavior modifications, develop and build healthy relationships with themselves and others. She uses a solution focused and patient centered approach.
